Job Summary
Curro is seeking to appoint a physical education intermediate phase teacher at Curro Krugersdorp in {school_location}. Job Description
- Curriculum Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging PE lessons tailored for girls across different grades.
- Learner Development: Promote physical literacy, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
- Sports Coaching: Organize, coach, and manage school sports teams, ensuring participation in inter-school competitions.
- Extracurricular Activities: Lead fitness clubs, dance groups, and athletics squads.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all activities meet health, safety, and safeguarding standards.
- Administration: Maintain accurate records of attendance, performance, and assessments.
- Pastoral Role: Mentor learners, encouraging confidence, resilience, and leadership.
Key Skills / Requirements
- Relevant teaching qualification (minimum: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent).
- Registration with SACE.
- Proven experience in Physical Education teaching and sports coaching.
- Ability to teach and coach a variety of sports and fitness activities.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication and classroom management abilities.
- Experience in managing extracurricular programmes and school events.
